Florida is not without its problems with alcohol and drug abuse. For Example, St Petersburg, with a population of 300,000, struggles with the misuse of drugs such as heroin, prescription medications, cocaine and others. Residents have struggled with an increasing amount of drugs, until their addiction reached epidemic proportions.
About Our Substance Abuse Classes
The homeless have made St. Petersburg, with the help of city funding, a hotbed for drug dealers and it’s causing problems for all residents. The shelters provided only offer food and beds, but no substance abuse counseling or programs for drug and alcohol misuse. We are one of the few nearby, out-patient drug and alcohol counseling centers that can help.
Our Substance Abuse Classes are designed to teach clients the tools necessary to manage their substance abuse problems, and learn tools to lead a healthy responsible lifestyle. Our substance abuse classes are attended by those self referred for self improvement, for the courts, or even for pretrial-intervention. Call for more information @ 866.663.9436.
Our Substance Abuse Classes focus on topics such as Relapse Prevention, Emotional Coping, Stress Reduction, Interpersonal Relationships, Family Roles/Issues, Self-Esteem, Communication Skills, and Boundary Setting, Sexuality and Intimacy, Codependency, and Anger Management.
Late night and weekend hours make our facility available to those who are required to take a Substance Abuse Class by authorities. We work closely with probation, city and county officials to get you the help you need when you need.
